Right in the heart of International Drive, is the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld. Away from the hustle and bustle the city, youโll find 28 acres of lush palm trees and sprawling lawns, the perfect family vacation oasis. Today Iโm sharing the ultimate hotel guide for DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld so that you and your family can enjoy this IBCCES Autism Certified Center property.

Check-In
As you arrive on the property, you will be greeted by the on-site valet. You have the option to valet park your car or self-park. We opted to self-park as we initially thought we would be exploring the Orlando area; however, we were so comfortable at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld that we never moved our car the entire weekend! Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was very friendly. The representative provided us with a map of the property with detailed directions to our room (the property is huge, so this incredibly helpful); in addition, she gave me a quick run-down of the on-site amenities. Best part about check-in? The heavenly chocolate chip cookies! They are so warm and delicious.
Our Room
We ventured through the lobby (enjoying our chocolate chip cookies) and into the sprawling courtyard. The water features and a palm tree-lined walkway that lead us to the towers made for such a peaceful welcome. Our suite was located in the towers and featured a King size sweet dreams bed by DoubleTree, sofa bed, a 42โ television, large table with chairs, and a separate desk area.
The tower suites feature city views and overlooked the Lagoon outdoor pool at DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld. I loved how spacious the room was, it was great to have so much space to spread out. The girls enjoyed having a table to color at during our downtime; they typically have to share the โspinny chairโ at the desk. This doubled as a lifesaver when it was time for me to get dressed as they were able to get themselves occupied with their homework and coloring!
Hotel Amenities
On-site Kids Club
The DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld has an on-site kids club. This club features daily activities for kids as well as childcare services in the evenings. The evening childcare/date night special does have a fee, but itโs a nice way to get a little break from during your family vacation. One of our favorite things about the kids club is that there is an assortment of games that the entire family can enjoy together. From arcade-style games to board games, there was a little something for each of the girls to enjoy during our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld. I especially appreciated being able to school Roo on the full-sized Pac-man arcade game!
*Note: The arcade games do require tokens that you can purchase inside of the kids club. Everything else in the kidsโ club is inclusive in your stay.
The fun doesnโt stop outdoors! The kidsโ club also offers on-site mini-golf, a full-sized pool table, a foosball table, ping pong, and a king-size checkers board for hours of outdoor family fun together! The girls loved working on their putting skills, it was easy enough for them, but challenging enough for the adults as well.
Two On-site Swimming Pools
Guests of DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld have access to two on-site swimming pools, as well as a shallow pool for the little ones to enjoy too. We spent most of our time at the Family Pool; I was very impressed that the whole family could have fun without worrying about disturbing others. The Family Pool is next door to the Kids Club and all of the outdoor recreation activities, so the area was lively, and the girls could let loose and enjoy themselves! ย
Dining Options
Barefoot Bar
The Barefoot Bar the pool allows you to sit back and relax to enjoy a delicious beverage. Thereโs a wide variety of drinks available for both adults and children to enjoy. Not only can you enjoy some refreshing drinks without leaving the pool area, but you can also grab a little snack, all the while enjoying the gorgeous view of the on-site pool.
The Laguna Onsite Restaurant
Letโs face it; traveling with picky eaters isnโt easy! Thatโs why I was so excited to find the Laguna restaurant on-site at DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld. They offer a buffet-style breakfast to get your day started right.
Thereโs a wide assortment of options so that even the pickiest eater in the family can enjoy a good breakfast. The Laguna also has an all-day menu with multiple options to choose from, including a specific kids menu for the little ones.
Albertoโs Pizzeria
If your kids are anything like mine, then they can eat pizza all day long if we let them. I was excited to find a pizzeria on-site at DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld. This pizzeria offers soups, salads, and pasta in addition to pizza, so youโre sure to find something that the whole family will enjoy. You can enjoy Albertoโs Pizzeria at the restaurant or have it delivered to your room for prime relaxation.
Room Service
As a Mom, I often fantasize about sleeping in and having someone bring me breakfast in bed. So when choosing a hotel, room service is an essential amenity for me. I love that DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld has different room service options. You can use a hang tag to order your breakfast, or you can use the in-room menu to order from the more extensive menu for other meals for your family without leaving your tower suite. We chose to use the hangtag option, and I enjoyed picking a time for breakfast to be delivered. All I had to do was open the door, and the girls were able to wake up to breakfast ready for them!
IBCCES Autism Certified Center
So firstly, I want to briefly summarize what it means to be an IBCCES Certified Autism Center and why it is important. This means they have gone above and beyond to ensure that their guests with Autism and sensory sensitivities needs are met.
ย Since DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld is an IBCCES Autism Certified Center, they have designated quiet spaces for your children to relax. The lawn on the Veranda is an excellent place for children on the spectrum or with sensory issues to find their center or get out that extra energy during your family vacation.
