When you have a child on the spectrum with sensory challenges such as sound sensitivity quality products are of the upmost importance. Even before our Roo was diagnosed we noticed that she was really sensitive to sound and she also needed headphones that blocked out most airplane noise.

After a lot of failed attempts at finding the perfect headphones we stumbled upon the Lil Gadgets Headphones Connect+.

Roo liked the headphones because they had an assortment of colors and she was able to pick our purple headphones. We liked them because they fold compactly and they have passive voice reduction.

For a child with on the spectrum with a sensory processing disorder material of clothing, shoes, headbands, and headphones make a major difference. We ran across a lot of headphones that were either earbuds or had hard plastic on them which won’t work for our Roo. The materials they use to make LilGadgets are nice and soft throughout the entire headphone.

Having a headphone that doesn’t aggravate her symptoms during long flights can make all the difference, and we are so happy that she can wear her LilGadgets headphones as long throughout the entire flight if she so chooses.

Now that we are homeschooling Roo is so excited to be able to use her headphones even more! Our homeschool curriculum is online and her headphones help her focus.

One of our other favorite features that we rarely use now, but are hoping to use in the future is the SharePort, so that you can connect multiple headphones to one device! One Littlest Love is old enough we won’t have to worry about them arguing over headphones or forcing them to use earbuds.

**Update 9/17: On our trip from Orlando our beloved LilGadgets BROKE! As a traveling family, they see quite a bit of use. I reached out to LilGadgets support and they were so helpful and kind! Because of their quality products and excellent customer service we are going to go ahead and buy Littlest Love’s headphones and hold on to them because I am certain they will continue to be our go-to headphone!

**Update 3/18: Sadly our second pair of LilGadgets headphones are broken! This pair made it less than 2 months on our around the world trip. Sadly it appears that the construction of these headphones cannot withstand frequent use as the plastic snapped in the same exact spot as our first set.
