What says Fall more than a Pumpkin Patch? If you are thinking a Pumpkin Patch while holding a Pumpkin Spice Latte and wearing a scarf I would give you a slight head nod and a hearty “Here Here”.

Going to the Pumpkin Patch is one of our most favorite Fall activities. Not only is the pumpkin picking fun, but it also serves the perfect backdrop for Fall photos!

Living in the Seattle area you may be thinking, where exactly does one find a patch of pumpkins in a sea of skyscrapers and bustling people? Never fear, the Carpinito Brothers Pumpkin Patch is right outside of the city in Kent. If you have driven down Hwy 167 you cannot miss the farm especially when the pumpkins are in full bloom!

Fall & Halloween are two of Roo and my favorite times of the year so pumpkin picking is a pretty big deal around our house. She painstakingly searches and decides which pumpkin is worthy to grace our front porch, and sweetly picks out smaller pumpkins for each member of our family!

Carpinito Brothers Farm & Pumpkin Patch has been our go-to place for the past 4 years, but I have to admit last year we were less than thrilled. The Fall leading up to Halloween time had been rainy and when we headed out to pick our pumpkin, it was a muddy mess! But that has been resolved this year, they completed renovated the pumpkin patch area, moved the corn maze, and it seems like they even added sod to help the ground be more firm.

Speaking of the corn maze and the other activities at the Carpinito Brothers Farm, let me tell you why it’s more than just a place to get your pumpkin and go. You could easily spend hours at the Carpinito Brothers Farm & Pumpkin Patch! The Farm is actually is split into two different sections. The first has the pumpkin patch, refreshments, a small farmer’s market, and a pretty impressive corn maze, from what I can tell on the outside. Between my irrational fear of the children of the corn movie and my uncanny ability to get lost, I opted to not try the maze for myself.

On the other side of the road lies, they offer Farm Yard Fun that includes a small petting zoo, corn pit, tractor hay rides, and a kid-friendly hay maze.

We have visited in the past, but the day we visited the Carpinito Brothers it was a bit chilly and after the family photos Lighting Bug was over my shenanigans!

All in all, it was a great time to help us usher in Fall and get into the Halloween spirit. Plus I was able to capture some mantle-worthy Fall photos of the girls so that made the trip worth its weight in gold!

Looking to visit the Carpinito Brothers Pumpkin Patch? They are open daily from September 29 – Halloween!
