There are so many times in life, that we don’t listen to our heart. We may be afraid of the unknown or rejection, and even worse at times failure. This fear can make us feel stuck and stagnant. That was exactly the place that we were as an entire family a year ago. We were generally happy, but overall we were going through our daily lives all the time quieting our hearts and their true desires.
One day, I sat down and listened to what my heart had to say, and much like Moana, my heart craved exploration. So I made the decision to listen to my heart and introduce the idea of traveling around the world. This was by far, the craziest notion I have ever come up with, but the prospect of growing closer together as a family sold Christa on the idea.
This Fall we are embarking on an Around the World trip, and because no trip is complete without Disney, we have decided to complete the Ultimate Disney Roadtrip, covering Disney properties from around the globe! Since the moment we decided to Follow Our Hearts we haven’t looked back and for that reason, our entire world has completely opened up!
Following your Heart is exactly what this year’s Disney on Ice is all about! We are surprising Roo by taking her to the show in a few weeks, but I am also hoping that we will gain some of that good ole Disney Inspiration for our journey to come.
This year’s show will feature themes about the devotion of family, boosting the human spirit, while showcasing virtues of bravery! It will feature all of the Disney Favorites as well as some other unexpected surprises!
